Vlad does a decent impersonation at times. MInd you, given how much pitches have improved, he's unlikely ever to emulate the famous occasion when KK tried to bounce the ball in a mud patch in front of what is now the Barclay, only to have the ball behave like a lead balloon and the opposing CF prod it into the net!
 
Watching Brentford v Man City.
The long throw in which has returned is normally a foul throw as most are not taken with feet behind the line.
Today, the ref does penalise one at last.
First I have seen for ages.

Anyone going to watch the England v Wales match tonight?
There seems very little interest in the England team, probably the worst I can remember.
I will probably watch it, but might watch Scotland, see if The Mayor is playing.

Tzolis scored Greece's goal in their 3:1 away defeat to Denmark. The Greeks appeared to be still jet lagged throughout the first half, and went into the break 3:0 down. Better in the second half and unlucky not to reduce the deficit to a single goal. But despite still having to play Scotland at Hampden, the Danes are odds on to win the group and consign the Scots to a qualification playoff.
