Emi Buendia made the goal which gave Villa the lead in the second leg Europa League game against Forest tonight, and then converted the penalty that put Villa ahead on aggregate in the tie early in the second half. A terrific performance by the little man that brought back memories of Emi at his Carrow Road best. Two late McGinn goals sealed a 4:0 win on the night (4:1 on aggregate) to book Villa's place in this season's Europa League final. They join Arsenal (Champions League) and Palace (Conference League) in ensuring England representation in the finals of all three UEFA club competitions <applause>

Some players such as Maddison and Buendia have progressed and improved after moving on whilst others such as Lewis and Godfrey haven't. Remember Andrew Omobamidele? I think we got £20m for him from Florist where he failed. He is now over here with Strasbourg and he played against Nice when we somehow beat them 2-0 in the Cup. I also watched him play last night in the Europa Conference League semi-final and, although they lost, Omobamidele had a good game. Newspaper gossip suggests he might be heading back to the EPL shortly.

Certainly a crap game, both teams too defensive, no real attacking, Let's hope todays game is better.

Motherwell 1:1 Hearts at HT in tonight's encounter. 'Well took the lead, but Hearts deservedly equalised and have looked the more likely thereafter.

Celtic appear home and hosed now 3-1
In the derby yes, but not yet in the league. Motherwell lie in wait for them at Fir Park on Wednesday, when Hearts are playing Falkirk. For their final game of the season, Celtic face Hearts at Celtic Park. Looks as if that'll be a case of "winner takes all" unless JBA's side take all three points on Wednesday night.

Tony Bloom's buying into Hearts has certainly gone to plan. He predicted that Hearts would "split the Old Firm". They might even end up doing better than that.

If Saints are thrown out of the playoffs the final will be between fifth and sixth place finishers. Has this ever happened before?

Don't think so. Next year 6 teams will contest for the playoff final. So finish 8th next year and you're in with a chance.

Watching Celtic v Hearts on Sky.
Great atmosphere, as much as I like Martin O'Neil, I would like Hearts to win, they deserve it, after a brilliant season, but it's going to be difficult. 0-0 atm
