Really had a strong feeling it would be a 1-1 draw before the game, which would have been great. Sheffield United are impressively relentless. They really can dig out results.

 

yes although west brom were their own downfall tonight. didnt manage to create more than one good chance despite constant sorties around the blades goal. toothless.

 

Unfortunately still 2 from 3 for the top 2 at the moment. We just can't get away from one of them.

I have a feeling Leeds could drift if us and Sheff United continue to dig out results.

Millwall away is a place we often struggle. Gonna be tough to dig 3 points out there.

So it's beginning to look very unlikely that 'FLDC' are going to mount a significant challenge even on the playoff places after tonight's defeat.

 

It's amazing, no matter which manager is at Derby they stop playing around February. Even the famous FLDC

If he can't keep Derby in the top 6 in the Championship (with all his promising loan players) - how on earth can he succeed at Chelski?????

 

He's part of England's "Golden Generation" doncha know.

 

Frankly (...) I think the Championship is a lot tougher than managing one of the top PL clubs

 

So if Leeds win at QPR this evening, they will go back to the top of the Championship and Bristol are at home to Brum!!!

 

QPR are in dire form but we can hope for a sudden turnaround. They beat Leeds in the FA Cup a few weeks ago so it is not impossible.

 

Leeds also laboured past Bolton. They are not looking like the team they were. QPR might not be up to upsetting the apple cart but they'll faulter soon.

Bah!

 

I think a 2-2 draw looks likely and would suit us.
