Plenty for all of us Saints fans to keep an eye on today in the Championship; some cracking games. The early kick off sees West Ham away to Derby. Unbelievably West Ham have five strikers on the bench! Middlesbrough look to have a more comfortable tie at home to Peterborough while our friends down the road battle with Leicester. There is also a south Yorkshire derby and an interesting game between two of the three relegated sides. How will the table look at the end of the day?

Thoughts or comments on today's games please post here.

Barnsley v Leeds
Birmingham v Blackpool
Burnley v Hull
Coventry v Brighton
Derby v West Ham
Leicester v Portsmouth
Middlesbrough v Peterborough
Millwall v Crystal Palace
Nott'm Forest v Cardiff
Reading v Ipswich
Watford v Doncaster

Derby 2-0 up!!!

Yeah, I thought West Ham may struggle today, however I suspect Middlesbrough will get three points, but it shows how similar Championship teams are in terms of quality. I wonder what West Ham will do if anything happens to Green today?!

I am amazed Blackburn are winning...

**** me, just heard derby are 2-0 up from the presenter for the pompey match, now come on you posh at 3!

Looks like West Ham will be utilising some of those five strikers then at some point

To be honest as Nigel says we just have to control the controllables. Even if Middlesbrough and West Ham both win it won't be a disaster, whereas if those two pull away at the top I will be a little bit concerned. But I wouldn't complain if Middlesbrough lost...

I'd expect Boro to win later, but I wouldn't be shocked if Cardiff and/or Hull dropped points.

west ham have to score 8 to go top and not concede again, doubt that will happen, (watch them win 8-2 now)

I know a lot was said about yesterdays game but one thing I thought was utterly ridiculous was the one ball rule. It slowed the game down and wasted time retrieving it. How could the Football League have banned the multi-ball system?

Looking at the stats, Greer, Noone and Calderon are all one yellow card away today for Brighton from missing our game on Monday (although I believe that Calderon is injured).

Only 20 minutes played. I'm not counting West Ham out of it yet, especially with so many strikers to come on and change the game. They have plenty of time to change the game, unlike us last night. However if Green, or a defender gets an injury then they could be in trouble.
