I would expect Liverpool to steamroller them. But then I expected them to lose against Real Madrid and Juve. Always thought they had a good chance against Spurs. Not over yet!
Son is strangely out of sorts. Erikson isn't getting on the ball to find him. Dele is another player who I think gets too much hype. Hes good but not as good as they make out
So it's looking like an Ajax v Liverpool final, who does everyone think will win? Just asking cos I am going Liverpool.
Nice one comrade! I had a spare ticket (mate broke his leg having a kick around on the way to the game, we took him to hospital and left) for the AC Milan v Real Madrid European Cup semi final in 1989. Outside the ground tickets were going for crazy money. We gave our ticket to a Milanese teenager for nothing. He cried, then saw Milan destroy Madrid 5-0 in the greatest display of football at club level I have seen. The middle tier of the San Siro was bouncing up and down. Great night.
Nice one Comrade G.......I’ll admit it makes you feel good about yourself and your principles.....but I won’t lie, the money did tempt me..but I stayed strong
I should add that our mate with the broken leg told us to piss off and get to the stadium, we didn’t abandon him. And he was an Atalanta fan (and ex second team player). Ajax fans singing Bob Marley. Outstanding.
Absolutely Liverpool all they way! Think they will be challenged by a good Ajax side! Fingers crossed and still hoping City drop a point at weekend!
I joined the England travel club just after Italia 90 as it was a pain in the arse getting a ticket from a tout in Turin (£50 was a bargain mind) when we could of been enjoying ourselves. Always hated that smarmy prick Colin Moynihan who sarcastically told us at a park gate out there that we shouldn’t of traveled without tickets.... At one time I was in the top 23 loyalty bracket of England fans in the travel club ’cos I travelled everywhere, as well as buying the 4 allocated tickets for the home games and selling them on at cost to my work supervisor....Wembley in a wet Wednesday night never appealed to me in them days
Difficult as I'd be pleased for either manager and both teams have English players. Probably on balance Liverpool, but it may depend on how I feel on the right. Ajax wobbling.
