As you can see, kiwi has kindly posted it below. Watching that back, it seems even more ridiculous. Are we suddenly going to see a load of players falling to the floor, demanding the ball put out when the opposition is attacking? Full credit to Biesla following them to score but even more credit from the Leeds faithful to Jannsen for being the only one to try and stop them. It really was crazy. Most Leeds fans think/know that they will mess up the playoffs.
Yeah I've seen it now cheers. Agree that Biesla was probably right in what he did, but I also agree that this has become ridiculous. Let's leave it to the referee to stop games. Every game we see players feigning injury to try to stop the opposition in a dangerous position. Have to say that it was quite an unbelievable watch though.
The battle to reach the Championship Luton and Barnsley will both be promoted to the Championship tonight without kicking a ball if Portsmouth lose to Peterborough and Sunderland fail to win at Fleetwood Town. Alternatively, if Pompey draw this evening, both the Hatters and the Tykes could be all-but up, given their significantly-superior goal-difference compared to Pompey, with one more game to go. The fourth-placed Black Cats must win tonight to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive, and they'll need a sizeable improvement on their goal-difference too.
Ajax are fantastic to watch and remind me of Pep's way of playing. Spurs are being ripped apart, but Son and Kane are huge absentees. Pochetino seems to have set up badly against the way Ajax play, but **** me, they are great to watch.
And they are kids. This is what I love about football. They also know that this squad will be dismantled quickly and they will rely on the academy to find replacements, but it only really hits these peaks every 15 years or so. What we would give for only waiting 15 years! It will be a hard model to maintain, Ajax get about 10% of the revenue from the Dutch league that Cardiff will get from the PL. Their mission remains to take kids and make them into great players, wherever they end up playing. There is a purity to it that I can’t help loving. As you know I don’t like Spurs, but I have a lot of time for Pochettino and the new stadium is superb.
