Ole Ole Ole Ole took united over when they were 6th and in the F A Cup, nearly 20 games later, they are 6th and out of the F A Cup
Milner and Henderson brought on against Southampton and injected incredible British fighting spirit and will to win to help Liverpool win the game.
What's wrong with supporting British players? One that was replaced was English, Trent Alexander - Arnold for Milner who is English. The other was Wijnaldum who is Dutch and was replaced by Henderson who is English. The 'lazy' verb was unnecessary.
Great goal by Salah tonight, he was almost in the same situation as was Sissoko against Spurs last weekend v Van Dijk. Bertrand did brilliantly in defending the situation but Salah's class in finishing was the difference.
Maybe I should have used the ' myself Was just wondering if the two players replaced were british Did Trent not have any British fighting spirit
Pathetic the way some on here will jump on anything to have a dig at and wind up fellow posters. I didn't criticise the players replaced, in fact I didn't even mention them. Pep, Klopp and other foreign coaches have all commented on the asset of having the British fighting spirit within their squads. Last night was a prime example of it. Salah's goal was a prime example of world class finishing too. What a pathetic and sad place this board has become.
I was at the game last night. No idea what Col is moaning about but I’ll assume he’s taken something the wrong way and bleated about it for three pages. Salah’s goal was beautiful to watch in the flesh. Like when Suarez murdered Clint Hill but without the pain of us being on the receiving end. Hilarious scenes too with stewards kicking off in the away end and loads of Pool fans outing themselves around me.
I can imagine both Liverpool and City winning all their remaining games and City just winning it, then some cretins having a go at Liverpool and Klopp for ‘throwing it away’ when in any other season they would have won the title by a mile with their points total. It’s a great battle, made even better by Spurs falling away so pathetically.
And don't some people just love to jump on the wind up band wagon, as evidenced by the usual suspects appearing on this thread.
As it stands we are only five points off of a relegation spot. Ipswich are even beating Bolton away 2-0 which shows how poor we are of late.
Brighton putting up a good fight against the juggernaut called City. Shame DT’s young mate Solly isn’t on the pitch. Finishes 1-0 Citeh. Pretty dull. Hope Wolves do them in the final.
