Clearer penalty than the one awarded against Man City and Otamendi by VAR away to Schalke two weeks ago. Otamendi faced the ball and tried to get his arm out of the way. Kimpembe tonight turned his back against the shot with his arm out, leaving himself at the mercy of VAR.
The way Solskjær have approached tonights game, and other games recently. With all the injuries they've got, suspension to Pogba etc. Never has there been a moan or focus on how tough they've got it. He gives the young players and the whole of the squad incredible belief that they can do anything. The difference in mentality and approach compared to his predecessor is staggering. Ending tonights game with three teenagers, Rashford stepping up and emphatically scoring the penalty, what a player. The change in Lukaku, he scores goals with his wrong foot (3 out of his last 6), scores rebounds, great work by a former poacher on the training field.
No I don't. But after the game an ex-ref explained the present guidelines and as things stand, it was the correct decision.
Magical PSG 1-3 Man Utd (Agg: 3-3) please log in to view this image Pat Nevin Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live I'd put it as more than history, I'd put it as magical. Not only have they done it but they have done it with a team that's missing 10 players, world-class players, with a stand-in manager, who's adapted and changed and played tactics that you wouldn't have considered. please log in to view this image ReutersCopyright: Reuters
Well done to both Manure and Spuds. I will always support an English club in Champs league unless it's Scum.

Arm out, not looking at the ball...don't see how it can't be a penalty. Or am I missing something? And if it was a penalty, surely it's better that it was given than not given? please log in to view this image And I've seen refs tonight say when you get the chance to view it with VAR it is actually classified as stonewall under current guidelines. I'm not debating whether it's right or not, it's just the way the rules are constructed at the moment. It will be slightly changed before next season, stricter and even less room for debate.
Yes, I wouldn't argue that it wasn't a correct decision under the guidelines. Just that the guidelines are wrong.
Cracking finish in Porto as well....a var penalty decision 2 minutes from end of extra time .....no doubt about the decision though....Roma out...
I turned that on just after they'd scored the penalty and the Porto players were celebrating with the crowd for so long I thought the game must be over.

He’s done brilliantly. But he does have a very good squad, which someone else built. Mourinho’s head seemed to have gone, at war with everyone, Ole basically needed to be a nice bloke to get the players back on board. But he wasn’t so great at Cardiff was he? Might he be a di Matteo at Chelsea, win the CL and last another 4 months?
10 first team player out to night, youngsters on, Rashford putting away a crucial pen in injury time, his 1st ever pen in a ManU competitive game, to win at PSG. Pretty remarkable, first time a team has overcome a 2 goal or more home game deficit in the Champions League or European Cup apparently. I'd take OGS as a swap for McClaren any day!
