This year The SPOTY was decided by a panel who nominated the six contenders, gone are the days when the public actually had an input into the overall contenders. On the actual quality of the nominees I reckon Thomas was a deserving winner but the show has become another one of ultra PC presentation as illustrated when they played 'Football's Coming Home' as a sort of multi-national mish mash of different versions, another example of the BBC diversity tick box mentality encroaching everything they touch...
Yes mate, we were a small unit, and he was in charge, one of the brightest officers I had....a real surprise when he turned up on Scrapheap Challenge and he's gone on to become a bit of a star. My missus loves the Chateau program
One of my wife’s favourites too, and although I hardly focus on it when it’s on, I love the way he approaches challenges (on the TV at least, I’m sure there is more swearing when the cameras aren’t rolling). And having the telly there is a great way to finance their dream.
Couldn't agree more. I don't think there is anyone better at their game than O'Sullivan. He gets better and better, a joy to watch.
