Apart from Kane, who else would you start.

 

Alexander-Arnold for Walker, Henderson for Rice and someone for Maguire, Gomez probably.

 

Henderson isn't 100% fit. Gomez isn't match fit.
Walker's pace gets us out of trouble, although Alexander-Arnold should become the regular right back.
Chilwell is one who is seriously out of his depth imo.
Rose should have started.
Rice is looking very dodgy early on, as is Maguire.
Gomez should take his place eventually.

My comment wasn't based on who was fit or not, just that it was a weak side.

We are struggling to play through their midfield.

I was convinced Maguire was awful before the World Cup, then I thought he'd proved me wrong. I'm more convinced now.

 

Gomez is very good and will soon replace him.

 

I rate Maguire. Probably better in a three than a two but we don’t have anyone else you’d fancy against Van Dijk at set pieces.
