Charlton are a rare example of a London team I have no animosity towards whatsoever. I’d almost go as far to say I like them. I don’t mind Sunderland either but this league is northern enough as it is.
Bizarre in the play off final. Sky are showing a replay of a Sunderland chance and when the camera cuts back live the ball is rolling into the Charlton net. They then show that it was the result of a calamitous own goal.
I think that reflects on the gates Sunderland were getting. Less than 30,000 in their play-off game against Pompey was a shocker. 1-0 up at this moment but I still think Charlton will win
I'm for Charlton too. Both sets of fans have suffered over the last few years but have a mate who is a Charlton fan plus be nice to have another London derby. Terrible start!
