Todays' games 2017/18

For a while I thought Charlie may have saved Sparkie's bacon but then Welbeck scored...

Hammers level it at the Scum who seem to be going through the motions, wouldn't be surprised if Hammers nick it...

 

Even before the game. The train I was on was bricked as it pulled into the station. A woman was badly injured by a brick-bat coming through the window. Then the busses to the ground ("for our own safety") were severly bricked. Same thing with the toffee-noses as well when I was there.

 

We were staying at the Adelphi Hotel in the centre of Liverpool, but, when we left the ground, we were herded towards buses that were heading to Edge Hill station. We told the old bill that we needed to go back to the centre, only to be told 'Get on the ****ing bus, or else I'm not going to be responsible for your safety'. So we got on the bus, had bricks chucked at us most of the way, and were kicked off at Edge Hill. We had to get cabs back to the Adelphi. There was a spectacular drinking session back in the hotel, though.

 

Those were the days, eh?

 

Lowest of the low. A team like Stockport need every support following their spectacular fall down the league's. I remember them in the 2nd tier back in the 90s and they were in the third tier when they beat us in the FA Cup with that lanky black striker Kevin Francis scoring against a pretty full strength team. One of many cup humiliations we've suffered. I hope he enjoys being a plastic fan, soulless like the teams they support...

He probably lives in Stockport what is there to be happy about. On the Stockport website it lists the three best things to do in Stockport, number three was drive 45 minutes to the Peaks

I mentioned it before but in the 87/88 season Liverpool fans bricked our train and coaches. Old people/kids/women lined the streets sticking 2 fingers up at us and throwing stuff at our double-decker bus. Sad sods.

But they've got a great sense of humour...
