So results were pretty good for us tonight. Hull 1 Barnsley 1 Reading 1 Sheff Utd 3 (I hear the gate was 6K. What happened to all those other fans?)
I see Sean Goss got another goal for Rangers last night, described as 'elegantly effective' and WLS report they want to sign him permanently. Another example of players flourishing elsewhere as if Hoofball Holloway needs any further damning endictments... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43122595
Apart from a couple of games it doesn't resemble football. We go behind and when chasing the game it ends up hoofball. When we try to play a passing game we give the ball away too often, as we have done under previous managers as well...
Apparently City have had their away match with Spurs switched to 7.45 on a Saturday evening so it can be on the telly - even though this is not a scheduled TV slot. The fans have protested, but as one said, they have no expectation of influencing anything. Cynicism reinforced.
Agree we give the ball away too much but we aren't playing hoofball even chasing games any more. He's brought on Eze every game recently during the 2nd half and we've been trying to pass the ball through and round the opposition with him in a central role behind the strikers. I hope he is used more.
Rochdale level and hit woodwork twice and Spurs have two goals disallowed, one a penalty. VAR is making a mockery of the game...
It's ridiculous reviewing every significant incident. The managers should each have one review per half.
It's on BT sport yet again and no highlights show elsewhere as far as I can see. Surely the highlights should be made available?
Not got the BBC sport app on your phone? The match is the first thing on there, scroll through the text commentary and there are clips of all the goals and the Lamela/Son incidents. Neither of which needed VAR.
I thought the players would freeze to death waiting for the result of the VAR decisions And what about the fans who have to travel a distance. Farcical
