Scott Brown was gobbing off in the papers up here before the match about how good Celtic would be in this game- large portion of humble pie for him
Just watching a dull first half, Arsenal at Cologne, currently 0-0. Cologne supporters waving about a dozen massive flags at one end, non-stop. The unlucky supporters seated behind each must only get a fleeting sight of the match. Hope someone keeps them abreast of the score.
I hope it’s Gooners behind the big flags. If it’s Cologne fans they will be completely used to it. German fans are outstanding. I’m pretty sure a lot only go for the singing, chanting, jumping up and down in a synchronised fashion, and goal celebrations. They don’t necessarily need to see the game at all.
In my half-hearted quest to do the 92 I’m up in Newcastle for the weekend for the Watford game today. Ground #72. Ha’way.
When we go out for our local beer Watford remind me to tell you the story of my trip to Newcastle or lack of it with QPR. enjoy
I was thinking about that a few years back but quite a few of the grounds as well as the teams are no more, fair play to you if you manage the 92...
Leeds win at Barnsley already today means we stay above them until Tuesday regardless of our result Monday, when Barnsley have another game.
Twatford beating the plastic jocks 1-0, Watford will be happy...hang on a minute ...Watford...Watford...Watford is fifth column!
The self proclaimed best league in the world has produced 3 goals in the first half, Watford are 2 up at Newcastle who could be returning from whence they came........ West Brom 1 up at Spurs....... 3 games goalless, those tourists must be well impressed......
Bristol City come back from 2-0 at Hull, now 2-2. Which result will also keep Hull below us, Edit: City beat Hull 3- 2
Millwall losing at Fulham, Sunderland 2 up at Burton, Reading 0-0, Bolton 4-1 down at Wolves. Ok results for us if they stay as is.
