Relegation from the premiership is not the only fight left in that division, the Chelsea v Liverpool game today has opened the race for the Champions Leaque qualification.
Whilst there's the small matter of Swans v Saints tonight there's another game worthy of mention, the French cup final. Why? well it's between PSG (quelle surprise) and a 3rd division side Les Herbiers, the ultimate David v Goliath. Les Herbiers as a town has a population of just over 15000 and their entire football budget of €2m would pay Neymar's wages for just 16 days!!!!!!! The shortest odds on a PSG win are around 1/100....... Here's an article from beeb website.......Allez Les Herbiers........https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43956998
Juve smashing Milan 4-0, all second half goals, in the Coppa D’Italia final. Balls. Gattuso will be ripping a few heads off in the dressing room afterwards. Amazingly Milan have won the European Cup/Champions League more times than they have the Italian Cup. It’s never been a big trophy to win, but Milan are having lean times, they could have done with this one.
Derby 1 up against Fulham in 1st Leg of Play Off Semi.... Gloucester leading Cardiff Blues 10-6 in Challenge Cup Final in Bilbao......
Fulham have been poor tonight. So many passes with very little end result. Kind You, 0-1 isn't the worst result for them.
Colorado v new york 2nd goal decided by video review which took about two minutes Still looked offside to me Game played at a mental pace but the last pass for both sides is woefull Colorado just got one back with 6min to go
Crazy final day in the SPL - Hibs, needing a 6 goal victory to snatch 3rd place from Rangers rush into a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes, only to be pegged back to 3-3 at HT, go down 3-5 with 20 to go, and equalise deep into injury to level at 5-5. Hibs highest ever points total in SPL, not bad for a newly promoted team..... Meanwhile, whilst needing to equal or better Rangers result to finish second, Aberdeen go to Celtic and become the first domestic team to beat them at Parkhead for over two years. Chelsea currently losing in their fight for Champions League too
TCD @TheChelseaDaily I’ve left the stadium. I was crying in the toilets at half time. This is all ur fault conte, you’ve done this to me even the stewards are laughing at me @TheChelseaDaily 13 Nov 2017 Very disappointed in the turn out. I waited 2 hours and no one bothered to show up except this one man who came up to me and called me a virgin. That’s the last fan meet up I’ll ever do. Totally embarrassing. TCD@TheChelseaDaily May 11 Tottenham fans make me so angry. Almost had a scrap with one at the train station this morning. Taking the piss about the result the other night. He's lucky I didn't spark man out. #CFC
Today was also the first time since the 1894/95 season that every club outside the top six finished with a negative goal difference. It's only the third time that all three promoted clubs have stayed up. A feat that we achieved in 2012 along with Norwich and Swansea. Huddersfield topped the table more than Spurs who haven't topped the table since 2014. Arsene Wenger ended his Premier League career with a win at Huddersfield, his 48th different ground. This beats Sir Alex Ferguson's record of 47. Man City won 32 games this season, which is the most ever in the top division. It's also the first time any of Guardiola's sides have reached 100 points in a single season.
