    Barstewards.....how very dare they.

Derby don't seem to be a great side this season, Pearson hasn't got them going yet.......maybe they have too many named players with egos in their squad......

But that's a proven recipe for success, isn't it?

Amazing to think that in 1970-71 I watched my brother-in-law playing for Crawley Town against Burton Albion in the Southern League Premier Division. That season both teams were relegated to what was the 6th tier of the English game, the next season Brian Clough's Derby County were the league champions, Burton have certainly come a long way since then...

Wasn't it the following season that we knocked Derby out of the FA Cup at HQ played on a mud heap and Dave Mackay kicked Rodney into row z as often as he could? Happily he also scored an own goal that day as well.....:emoticon-0100-smile

Nice symmetry with Clough Jnr in charge at Burton........they are doing well.

Well-deserved win for Burton, they wanted it more. Pearson will be throwing the cups around...<laugh>

That must have been one of Rodney's last games for us before he cost City the title that season...

Clint Hill puts in another 90 mins for Rangers in a 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock, where Joey Barton got clattered for a red card.

Killie's Greg Taylor slides in late on Joey Barton

The result is that the Rangers number eight is sent flying into the air with a clatter to his shin

It's an easy decision for referee Kevin Clancy, who sends off young Taylor

I assume you jest - was a two footed, studs up, leg breaker challenge that Barton did well to jump out of - a red card any day of the week.

It was the previous season Tramore. 5th round on the 69-70 season.

Strangely enough we didn't play in the 6th round!

Just watched ten minutes of West Brom v Middlesbrough. No Tony Pulis team should ever be televised. Phillips is apparently playing but you could have fooled me.
