A couple of ex-R's combine for Boreham Wood to help secure a home 2-2 draw with Notts County after being 2-0 up at one point - stupid celebration rule, even at this level.

This type of match-up is what the FA Cup is all about. Wish them well for the replay

51' Angelo Balanta (Boreham Wood) is shown the yellow card for excessive celebration.

50' Goal! Boreham Wood 2, Notts County 0. Angelo Balanta (Boreham Wood) right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Bruno Andrade with a cross.

31' Goal! Boreham Wood 1, Notts County 0. Morgan Ferrier (Boreham Wood) left footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Angelo Balanta with a through ball.

Adam Campbell scored twice as Notts County came from 2-0 down to earn an FA Cup first round replay against National League side Boreham Wood.
Wood, who have never beaten a Football League club in the FA Cup, led through Morgan Ferrier's angled shot and Angelo Balanta's finish from six yards.

Half-time substitute Campbell fired in from 25 yards to give the League Two side hope.

And he earned them a second chance when he headed in a late corner.

Matty Phillips sets up a deflected cross for James Morrison to score for WBA at Leicester.

Quick response by the Foxes, 1-1

And they win. Are we going to be playing West Ham next year in their stupid stadium?

Leicester are showing themselves to be the mediocre team (and manager) that some of us suspected they were last year. Yes, they're doing ok in the Champions League, but they must be in the weakest group since the competition started.

In fairness they have a weak group because they won the league and are top seeds. To be on ten points with no goals against is very impressive still. There was always going to be some hangover and I doubt anyone at the club really cares.

As a supporter who watch QPR at White City, it was a big mistake for West Ham to move to the Olympic stadium.

Frank Lampard: New York City could extend midfielder's MLS stay

Frank Lampard is the joint-seventh most-capped England international with 106
New York City have until 31 December to trigger a one-year extension to Frank Lampard's contract.

Lampard, 38, played the final game of his initial two-year deal with the Major League Soccer outfit as they lost 5-0 to Toronto at Yankee Stadium.

It completed an 8-0 aggregate defeat and eliminated NYC from the play-offs.

Lampard, who signed for NYC after leaving Chelsea in 2014, has scored 12 times in 16 games this year, including a hat-trick against Colorado Rapids.

The former England midfielder had a difficult first season in the MLS - scoring three times in 10 appearances having arrived later than initially planned after a spell at Manchester City.

Anyone wishing to watch Holland v. Belgium, it's being shown live on Chelsea TV if you can bring yourselves to tune into that channel.

That was an enjoyable read. Being in Norfolk as I am, the coverage of the budgies is incessant, they are taking it very seriously and I can see them winning it. If it transpires that two U21 sides compete in the final it will show the competition up for what it is, a complete embarrassment.

Just watched the second half of Armenia v. Montenegro. Armenia 0-2 at half time, won 3-2 with the last kick of the game, cue jubilation on the Armenian bench, brilliant
