England are World Champions! You don't hear that too often, a great performance, let's hope Southgate lets them progress through the ranks...
I just hope some of these youngsters get some regular game time in the Premiership. No point loaning them to championship clubs to be dragged down a few levels. At the very least send them to competitive European leagues and insist that they play if their home club is not going to give them a chance.

Yep. I was attending the roast at the same time too mate.
Yeah but the problem is always whether some of them stay "English" and play for the Senior side. When they start to feel like they may not get the Senior squad places, even if they were born in England, the children of immigrant parents may end up playing for their parents' nations.
There's only so much space in the Senior squad.

Great opening goal from England. surely it can't have been England though eh? England can't score goals like that against a top Nation can they? No.........I'm sure people say they can't.
France 2-1 up at half time and looking the more dangerous side. Good game though and England could have had a couple more as well.
Our biggest problem is central midfield and needs to be solved. I'm not sure Dier is good enough and he and the Ox look very poor position wise. This 3-4-3 could be OK if we had a better central two.......Henderson and Wilshire maybe?
Both French goals have come from a good save by the keeper, with good follow up by the French attackers who have been unmarked at the far post - is this down to the 3-4-3? Definately losing a battle in midfield, but sure Southgate will ring the changes at HT - will he change formation?
