I couldn't make it to the game today and from what i've seen on here I was the lucky one! Since I wasn't there can someone tell me about the key match facts. What was Simpson's goal like? What were there defensive howlers? Best Player? (If there was one!), and what about these possible signings?
 
Simpsons goal was a tap in Garcia did all the hard work,

The first goal we conceded gerrard kicked the ball into their strikers head and it rebounded to their other striker who was through on goal and slotted it,

The second goal was some seriously suspect defending by Dawson who headed it back to the goalkeeper only he didn't bother actually heading it hard enough so their striker just ran onto it and slotted it.

The third goal Dawson Gerrard and Hobbs were playing a game of who can be the ****test defender, gerrard missed the cross hobbs flapped about dawson flapped they ran around the box for a bit and then dawson slid in leaving their striker with an open goal from a yard with the goalkeeper on the floor.

The last goal a cross came into the box dawson was the wrong side the striker just turned him like he was a 12 year old girl and slotted.


Fryatt and Garcia did ok everyone else was ****.
 
Agreed. The strikers can't be held accountable, though Simpson's forced move into midfield reduced his effectiveness and he was as average as the rest in the second half.
