And Nillwall couldn't even manage a shot in their first half at Brighton, and they cling solidly to the foot of the table.

It's all really going splendidly according to all predictions

What game was you watching. I was at ER today and Green was our best midfielder.

I tend to be a glass half full kind of person in team related matters so here goes.

I thought we would probably get spanked today so a 0-1 was better than I expected. That's as good as it gets.

The game was bloody awful. No off the ball movement. No more than two passes strung together by either side. Not sure if the game was crap because of the lack of atmosphere or vica versa. Thank fook we haven't got any more stupid o'clock kick offs for a while. Then my eldest tells me that twat Barton is patronising us all over twitter.

Good to see millwall still equal bottom ( Bolton equal bottom, didn't see that one coming).

Not much in it for me, like Shako said if QPR are the best in the league, we've nothing to worry about.
I agree about Hunt not giving much, and green giving the ball away, i'd also give Ashdown a chance over Paddy now.

One worry I'd have is the awful standard of the three televised games. Not much better a spectacle than last season. This current squad is likely a mid table one which is fine. They're better organised and seem to be playing in their strongest positions but as an attacking force in those three games, we've been non existent. Perhaps the return of Byram will offer something but on today's performance, diouf should be getting more than ten minutes game time whil hunt and varney gallop about for an hour creating nothing

Well, personally I think we NEED to change formation. I think I have said it after every single game. That formation doesn't work and Ross needs to be playing as a striker imo.

I think in the first half we weren't bad to be honest but the strikers were, Hunt had a really poor game and Varney didn't put himself about enough, even though Smith didn't win that many headers when he came on the Smith and Poleon partnership looked immediately better than the Varney and Hunt one.

I thought Wootton and Pearce both had a good game and it was a good decision to leave Lees on the bench, I'm a big fan of Lees but so far this season he hasn't been good enough. Thought our full backs were poor, Warnock had an off game for me just losing the ball too easily and making stupid decisions. Peltier doesn't do enough on the ball although was solid enough defensively, you expect a full back though to be able to at least contribute something on the ball instead of hitting aimless long balls for either Hunt up the line or no one in the middle. And what the hell was Kenny doing for their goal, he just wanted to push it into their striker's path I take it...

I've been critical of Green this season but he played better and was probably our best midfielder today, but I still claim you can't play both Green and Austin, it needs to be one or the other.

QPR will improve over the next few weeks, expect a couple of signings on Monday and the team to create more chances in games
You are right that QPR have just been doing enough to nick the points at the moment

Josh, here's an idea. Top two of Ross & either Varney or Poleon. Head of the diamond Diouf with Austin at the base, Murphy on the left with Byram on the right. Keep the back 4 as they are. What do you think?

I thought Hunt had a very poor game we looked so much more aggressive with the substitions.Warnock made some terrible errors Austin must concentrate more passing to the opposition is not a very good alternative .We need someone creative that can unlock a defence Burke springs to mind at Brum

I think it would be stronger than what we have used but I dont think it'll get away from our issues. I hope to be proven wrong but we aren't using the space as effectively as we can because of the formation.
