He was 3 yards offside as the ball went through to Dempsey, had Dempsey not brought him into play he would have been on. I know the rule numbnuts!

Do you remember the appalling decisions we got last time we met???
    We sound like pansies?
Why ... cos we object to to hoof sorry huths antics and adams thuggery?
Rather that than like a bitter twat who loves hoofball and knows **** all about football

  3. Errrrr..... There was no offside here. No one, not even that humourless twat Pulis, has claimed otherwise.
Mind you, still hasn't stopped him whining on about how hard done by his poor lads are.

Listen mate - your club is universally disliked for the way you play football. You are the Millwall of the Premier League, just without the class (!!)

35% possession with most of that at between 10 and 20 foot above the pitch, 1 attempt on goal, a sending off and 3 other bookings - and your lot have the nerve to claim bias???? :steam:

Knowing the offside law is the least of your worries......

To be fair to Stoke, their fans don't expect a lot because they use the excuse they cannot or will not buy players who can actually play the game. Never mind the fact that Swansea or Wigan, with less support, can find skillful players who don't have to win games with their elbows or their studs. The players are limited by Pullis, the most pony of one trick ponies. He makes Allerdyce look like Pep Guardiola. In the end, if they stay in the prem (which in this form most football fans hope is not the case) the Stoke fans will insist on a more expansive style.

Until then, though, expect them to carry on applauding thrown-ons like a last minute winner against Bayern Munich.

Allardyce > Guardiola...<laugh> Love it....True enough though. There's no real excuse for the way they play. Pulis must have been a major Wimbledon fan.

I thought referee Kevin Friend was biased. He was biased towards the rules of football and handled Stoke as they should be. If more refs enforced the rules as well as he did, football would be the winner.

  7. Have to admit I was very impressed by him today - and not just because he sent the thug off. He is one of the best and seems to find the right balance in the way he communicates with the players.

I still have no idea who this is referring to. You're not confusing your goalkeeper with one of our players are you?

(The goalie's the one with the gloves who's allowed to touch the ball with his hands. I know! Crazy! He's sort of like a quarterback or one of those guys in rugby who can kick the ball out of play yards up the pitch).

You know,if you really think about it,Stoke could resign from the football league and join the rugby league.I'm sure they'd be at home in that league.Probably win it,too!
Charlie Adam and Huth would be in their element!!!!!

Even if Adebayor was offside(he clearly wasn't) it still wouldn't have been justice for the ridiculous goal he had disallowed last season.

Why are they whining ?? Nemesis has repaid Spurs for last season.
They should just be grateful it hasn't resulted in relegation.

Caulker was the one standing in the offside position from the initial pass. Dempsey played in Adebayor.
I can see how you mixed them up, though...

    Different phase of play, anyway.

Notice the lines on the pitch - making their pitch smaller to try and quash any attempt to play real football

Beating Stoke is one of the closest things to beating a London rival for me. I despise them. **** style of football, dirty tactics and the fact Charlie Adam plays for them immediately increases my dislike. A shame they won't get relegated, here's hoping next season the footballing Gods grant us some good fortune.
