I can honestly say that I haven't felt like this since either KK's second coming/ the appointment of SBR.
woke up today and through my hungover haze I thought...'did I dream that Rafa came to Toon'... a quick check on Twitter and I'm smiling and have a spring in my step. it's honestly like waking from a long coma and discovering optimism, hope and remembering what it feels like to buzz about football again.
Im very very very happy with this ,but i dont want to be negative, this is Newcastle United and in all the long years i have supported them there is alway a **** up,a glitch a doomsday button. Im trying so hard to contain myself not thinking to much about how well we can do with this REAL FOOTBALL man in charge.....I dont wanrt another KK episode were they changed the rules half way through the **** stains need to stay true to there word and give Rafa what he wants and needs. For the 1st time in years im starting to feel like the club is back.A real manger with real backroom staff. Over to you RAF and penfold leave him alone you ****ing **** house... HWTLS.
I'm so glad you went to the trouble to look through our forum, look for this thread, put your fingers to work And the best you come up with is 'err your team's ****' Kudos to you sir
Calm down lads, I wasn't slagging your mothers off or anything, just saying how terrible your team is and that I doubt the fat waiter has enough time to turn things around. He won't manage you in the Championship either so, bit of a strange appointment. Good luck though.
Hardly strange its good, however its too late thats all. We have good players but no defenders at all
Well there's an actual comment so fair play. Yeh probably too late but its MA's final throw of the dice so may as well aim for a 6. Like grandpops said on another thread earlier its a pretty minimal risk, potentially only paying Rafa for 10 games of a season unless they stay up in which case there is so much TV money it really won't matter. We're excited because we would rather have a go at ten games with benitez than ****ing schteve
Yea true, at least you will go down with a bit of fight compared to just suffering another 10 games under the wally with the brolly.
10 games is potential for 30 points. Obviously that is rediculous but the point remains that there is plenty of potential for points remaining. Benitez basically needs to have an immediate impact though and we absolutely cannot lose that derby. In fact I would go as far as saying we need to win it to stay up for the momentum as much as anything. We can't have the players feeling sorry for themselves for a single second after yet another derby defeat. The season starts now.
