Only prediction I got right for yesterday/todays games BMB so I avoided a shut-out. Another reason to celebrate. From what I heard on Tiger Player it was hardly an inspiring performance but we were clearly the better side and a wins a win and we're back in second place. I'm probably too hard on Bruce given our results and standing this season. I'd just like to see us add another top striker and play a more attacking style of football. But if he brings us another promotion that's the main thing. Very much looking forward to our month in England and seeing the lads in a few games!!
Just to let you know CT, your correct prediction of today's City game has put you in second place (on 20 pts), just a couple behind Hebrides Tiger...you may well be top after Saturday in the sub-competition you proposed before this season began. Your comment about Swanny in an earlier post reflects my observations also. Today he made some very good observations. I think he has been led astray by Burnsy over the last 2 or 3 years and has tended to forget what his job should involve, but he seems to be more assertive now & getting more into the task at hand. If you're in need of a pass for City games on your upcoming trip, you're welcome to borrow mine ( we are of similar vintage, so a seniors pass is available). I'm stuck here in the Toronto winter and unable to use it. It's at my sisters place ( in Kirkella.), so if you're interested, send me a PM & I'll contact her to see if she's around to pass it on to you during your visit to Hull. She had said she & her hubby were off to Spain sometime soon for a while, but if needs be she can hand it to my nephew ( also in Kirkella) to get it to you somehow. Thanks for the kind offer of your pass TC. I was hoping to watch the City v Brighton game on the 30th but that's no longer on so I'm not sure if I'll be in Hull for any other home games. I'll PM you if I'll be able to use your pass. Might see some away games in the London area. Nice to be in second place in Hull City predictions. Been poor overall though. Have to try harder!!
