I'm not sure any of us has said he's the best but we've definitely said he's one of, which is a fair claim to make I'd say, doubt anyone could name say 15 better CBs than him (or Jan for the matter). He hasn't looked good in his sporadic appearances upon returning from injury though, understandable given the time he was out but nonetheless he's been nowhere near the levels he was the past couple of seasons.

Lol so much crying because Spurs fans rated their own player. He's not the player that was getting the ratings anyway. We didn't miss him as much as everyone was hoping we would. His worth has dropped for the team.

If he goes I'm not too bothered. if he goes to United...they had a good defence anyway. Their problem is Mourinho so I can't see how Toby will actually advance them to the next level.

I'm fairly sure that one day somebody like Eriksen or Kane will leave Spurs and the Spurs lads will somehow find a way to conclude that they are surplus to requirements.

I don't care how you dress it up, he's better than any of their other defenders and Poch choosing not to pick him and get him match-sharp won't change that.

I’d disagree.

Vertonghen is just as good. They’re just different types of player. They compliment each other as each can do things the other can’t.

I'm being objective here though mate, he's by far the most gifted of your defenders I'll still say the same if he signs for Liverpool.
