It depends what team Alderweireld wants to join this summer.

actually it depends on whether we decide to keep him and let him go the following summer for the £25m buy out clause that triggering his one year extension will bring into play.

But remember this... he is on record as saying that Jose is a mean mo fo ****pig for all the digs he makes at Luke Shaw (think I posted the actual quotes earlier on this thread)

Stop making crap up.

Think you will find that his contract situation is exactly as I described it so I would thank you to remain civil young man.

Well said! Matth needs to learn some manners.

No way will Levy sell Alderweireld to United. And when he is sold abroad, Levy will have a clause inserted that stops any sell-on to United.

Not for another 16 months he can't. We'll sell him to PSG this summer if he doesn't sign.

Or he could just say he's staying at Spurs for another season and you'll pay his wages up until he leaves for £25m.

It's a rare occasion I admit, but Levy doesn't have such a strong hand here. My guess is Toby will decide his next move and I think Poch (not Levy) will be ok with that because he has a good side anyway, that he can add to.

i expect there'll be a big money auction - 3 PL clubs, 2 Spanish, 1 French. And whoever gets him will probably get a player that's had the summer off, if Roberto Martinez follows through on his threat to not pick players that don't play for their club team.

I think he is a bigger gain for whoever gets him than he is a loss for us...I think we have lost 1 game in the last 20...he has had nothing to do with that run. Or the one we were on before it. Not knocking him, think he's a top player...but we have got other options too.

Depends how you look at it. Does he keep the other two on top of their game? Does he give them anything in training?

I think De Gea is the best GK in the world because he has Romero pushing for his place, who himself is a top goalkeeper and would walk into most clubs first XI in this league, especially Liverpool.

I don't think he does for the simple reason that they probably know hes going.

Poch keeps them on their toes but you can't have Poch.
