It's simple really when LFC fans swear at Tobes or other supporters on the forum It's seen as ok. When Tobes and maybe others starts dishing It back (And to be fair most threads I have seen Involving abuse etc he Is dishing It BACK) forum users like Astronauturf neg rep him and other people just for dishing It back...Dicks like Astronauturf don't neg rep LFC fans for abuse? So basically there Is a minority on here that can be abusive but that's ok as long as their an LFC fan... If an opposition fan gives some back then Astro starts his neg rep kids game After a while It gets boring and you don't bother visiting the site as much or **** off altogether....Que the neg rep from Astronauturf...
Good argument, but not entirely true is it? I seem to remember Tobes being the first to start name-calling on the Martinez/ Everton thread and it degenerated from there. I don't know whether there was anything going on that I'd missed, but a fairly civil thread developed into a light handbagging spat for a while. Despite his obsession with where people live and the fact that he could start an argument with a corpse I thought Tobes was a decent enough poster and I've no problem with him coming back. As for our board being intolerant, anyone who'd read through some of the hysterical wumming coming our way during any one of Suarez's depressingly frequent "indiscretions" would see that our mods are really rather easy-going. Anyway, it's up to Tobes what he decides to do.
Sorry silly me & all that but WTF is the issue with Neg rep JOL? I mean I don't (mostly on phone) even know what my rep is)! Seriously; does it stop your ability to post? Did I miss something? Tobes always gave a "don't give a toss what you think" vibe so seems strange that a forum shiny button function would distract him. (Didn't read the thread involved TBF) Does anyone on here actually censor what they say based on rep repercussions? Christ...... And the best way to get Tobes back is to say your a bigger blue fan than he is but you're from Kent.
Not sure on others but I don't think I ever really censored tobes with the mod tools since I became a mod and I even got stick for not jumping in at times! I told tobes and I think it was Sisu/dave ( can't remember) to keep the bullshit in the everton/liverpool banter thread but that was about it. Not sure where the LFC fans do what they want with no repercussions but tobes says something and gets hammered by us all? I normally joke with the guy. At the end of the day, taking this **** that seriously is beyond me. I come on to talk LFC, to have a laugh and joke, mingle a bit, and sometimes let off steam on LFC issues or day to day issues. I think the one time I lost it was when Baz said I wasn't a true true fan and tried to make some comparison to a swarm of bees or some ****.

Taking the exact opposite stance of every thing Liverpool FC you mean because it was Liverpool, less was tolerated from other users who got banned, As if it wasn't enough to rant on and on about how LFC Not606 members as a whole are all "this and that" on the manc board and defend someone like NOF for calling us murderers when even the manc mods temporarily banned NOF for that one. So maybe the mods can tell us why he has been given so much slack, far more than many who have been banned from this board? Especially when there is a distinct lack of LFC fans going on to the Bitters board to wum and argue every single little point.
does seem silly that he is gone, but i remember on another forum the abuse he used to give other people for not being able to take things, oh the irony. it may be seen for rivals on here that we usually stick up for each other, don't think that's the case personally as i have had many a disagreement with fellow reds, but you should venture out to other forums or websites where you can comment and see the ****e we have to put up with on a daily basis, some of it is quite sick, we have to deal with the stupidity we get thrown at us so if you cant take a bit of criticism from a faceless person on the internet maybe you shouldn't be on a public forum in the first place. maybe its just me but its getting harder and harder to spot the children on the net now days. i used to mod and i only had 2 rules, no mentioning tragedies and no insulting a users family members ie children, everything else is fair gain and good banter, as long as a line is not crossed whats the problem, a lot of people can give it but not take it. come back tobes you silly old fart, you are a good user and be a shame to lose you. that's me done lol, don't care any more, more important things to worry about.
I'd say that if he was a manc or spud supporter he'd have been banned long ago, it seems it is easier to tolerate fans from clubs less successful than your own. That's why you really have to go far to get banned from the manc board and why it is easier to get banned from Spuds and the chavs boards

I'm not from Kent lol...I must admit what I said was not 100% accurate of course he used to start giving the abuse etc on some of the occasions perhaps I should have said on the occasions where abuse etc was being exchanged by both parties super Astronauturf would jump In and Neg rep only the Everton supporter (mostly Tobes) for abuse... Foredeck Dave and Tobes have had some big toys out of the pram moments on here but It was only Tobes that Astro would play the Neg rep game with... He has done It to me a few times and Neg rep from him does not bother me tbh but I can see why Tobes buggered off or Just browses now, Shogun rarely posts anymore either and I don't post that much compared to 6 month ago...In the main the LFC guys on here are great to have banter with It's the few assholes that spoils the site really (Not you)
