No tomato should be allowed near sandwiches.. Tomato is only acceptable with cooked breakfast or steak or in a salad.. Quite partial to a cheese and onion toastie though
From bristol airport, what about toast toppers? Luminous coloured gunk that tasted wierd yet great. I remember them fondly.
Don't remember those.. Actually had some toast earlier, nipped home for a **** then had two slices of gently toasted hovis soft White adorned with Cornish creamery butter.. Was marvellous
No, you said that toast is the best all round snack, discuss. I disagree. Your comment about ****ting napalm made me wee a little bit.
This is true.. Though for most people I don't imagine they have a steady supply of pot noodles at home, I'd say they buy them when the mood takes.. Therefore toast is the most easily accessible and versatile snack cooked in 3 mins with a variety of accompaniments sweet or savoury.. Everyone has bread and marg and a topping suitable for toast.. Therefore toast is the winner.. I quite enjoyed the napalm 'analogy' also ..
Thats a tricky question eric.. as parts of said slice have clearly been burnt.. I would say its been toasted for at least 3.5 mins to achieve the level of burntness encompassed in that particular slice.
That sounds just wrong. However, after sampling peanut butter and jam on toast the other day I may be willing to give it a try.
Was the mint sauce homemade?? Not sure how I feel about that.. Quite partial to piri piri sauce or Tabasco on cheese on toast.. But really wholegraim mustard and Worcester sauce is the shiznit.
I did have a toast experience yesterday.. As a mid afternoon snack I have finally tried tinned sardines on toast.. In a tomato sauce.. Had the sardines cold was that the correct way to consume said tasty treat.. ?? Also I had the breakfast of champions yesterday .. Walked into my kitchen in my pants and found a half eaten kebab I didn't remember buying.. Nothing quite like cold kebab meat in the morning
I also procured a tin of mackerel in Tom sauce.. Will have a run out on those at some point this week
