I'd like to know why we haven't tried to make more use of the 4-3-3/4-5-1 that worked well for us in a couple of games earlier in the season. I thought we looked good both in defence and going forward in that formation, but since Tettey and Pilks have been out we haven't used it much. Whilst initially Johnson's poor form may have been a reason to drop it, he's getting closer to his best again. Redmond won't support the lone striker so well, but at least with less to aim for in the middle his shooting won't seem like such a criminal waste. With more central midfielders on the pitch too are play won't go through him so much. Not a fan of this 4-4-2 which only seems to be used to satisfy fans as far as I can see. I don't see any advantages to it other than that.
