and who the **** are you to say if I'm pretentious or not? Can say what I like, if you don't like it, answer back against my point or don't bother reading it.
Small number of pitch invaders and the guy who decided to smoke grenade his own fans aside, seems like no trouble. Did see one guy getting carted off by the police at the end though, not sure why.
Funnily enough as I was walking away from the ground the old bill were putting him in the back of a police car.
just missed my head! landed up with the old bill & the mothers meeting off topic - did anybody see that leeds fan giving it large on the way out of the ground, on northam road (i think thats the road)
the equaliser was 3:56 into the 4 minutes of stoppage time so that has absolutely nothing to do with it. I think it's sad that fans feel they belong in the stands, and criticise those who want to get closer to the team. Indicative of the fortified modern barrier between players and supporters i feel.
What an idiot, so much for the intense searching on the gates. Did it go off fully? I remember us setting some off at Fratton aswell.
Well I went to matches in the 70s and 80's. And in the 1960s too. The thing is, it was mainly a crowd of male adults back then. Nowadays it's men, women and kids. And let's face it, just because it went on before, doesn't mean that it has to continue. Although people could be being a little precious here.
Someone remind me, what were Kenneth Wolstenholme's famous words? Just before "they think it's all over"? Oh yeah, that's right. "There's people on the pitch..."
