This year´s kit has caused much debate
Between supporters young and old,
´twill be interesting, the fortune it brings
As we see this season unfold
But firstly, why do we need three
Especially as waspish a one,
As this latest version of yellow and green
It was surely meant only as fun
But whichever version they choose
We´ll more than stand out in the crowd,
And under lights I can see pink Ruddy now
Standing there, luminous and proud
But one thing we should just recall
When talking of a kit that might hit,
We had by far our most successful time here
In our universally acclaimed worst ever kit
We even showed it off abroad
To Italians, Germans and the Dutch,
So perhaps we´ll shock the nation once again
For those wanting a few straws to clutch.
