I am bemused about the title of this thread; "to all the decent Saints fans" - and then we read nothing but abuse??? I presumed when I opened this thread that I was going to read something intelligent and maybe respectful from some decent City fans... seems I was wrong.

It is hard when u have toplay against 13 men. I really dont how.we.lost to that ****. Hoof and run. Adamoah looked decent but that was it.That skate.was lucky when he handled outside area.and there were numerous times saints.players were being held in the box. Like already said good luck in your relegation battle
Let's not start a fight lads. They beat us today quite fairly, and they beat us comfortably at their ground. They deserve the 6 points, and deserve to be higher in the league than they are, and I applaud them for it. Similarly, we deserve to be top of the league and should have played better. Two results do not dictate our season, but those two results are very good for Bristol City. So to all Bristol City fans, you should be proud of your team today. They did the double over the team at the top, and that's not an easy achievement.
This will be something you can tell you grandchildren about, congratulations. This must be a great feeling; overcoming the best team in the Championship. xxx
I congratulate Bristol City on their win tonight, it was well deserved. I am sure that the original poster is not typical of City fans, who will obviously be delighted tonight and know that beating a team which been top of the division for many weeks was an achievement. He seemed to think that us expecting to win was arrogant, which given our record breaking home run, it was not. Seeing the performance tonight, I feel sure that they will avoid relegation, provided they can keep their better players, Adamoah in particular. So, to all decent Bristol City fans I say well done. And to the disrespectful ones;
Bristol City are some of the most pathetic horrible fans,they like to beat up innocent people and now we see a load of them making a thread because they beat us! welldone but now you can go back to losing the next 4 games! turn up when you're playing the big boys but not so keen to turn up against the smaller teams! if you're happy to have a team like that then good luck to ya!

In the past we had a tendency to have the double done over us by teams that subsequently got relegated, but that is not likely to happen to Brizzle is it?

I could tell from your previous posts you were a fair minded person, the Championship is a very hard division to get out of and at the half way stage you are looking good. but you ain't there yet. Just got back from the game and thought it was like a cup match end to end. I thought Bristol kept their shape well and defended stoutly, although I think Carey got away with a fair bit... I think the extra man in midfield was a big plus for you guys and I was impressed with Cisse. Finally, I know Lambert will get a lot of stick from you guys but I did not think he did much wrong tonight, he just didn't get too much of a look in due to your tight defence. If you continue to play like that I cannot see you going down.
