Is this a wind up? Our fixtures are outstanding. We've got the two worst teams in the league (comfortably at that) to play at home, one of which are already down. We've then got two sides who are right in the middle of the table with not a lot to play for. I watched Watford at Hull and they got done even with a man extra. They were dreadful although Hull were quality. Spurs have gotta play United, a potentially difficult game at West Ham, although i think they'll win that one and then they've gotta go to Hull last game, who not only have something left to play for, their manager hasn't lost a home game for 3 years!
Not to mention, they also have to play away against the resurgent CURRENT PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!! Our fixtures are a million times easier than theirs on paper. Of course that doesnt guarantee you anything in football these days, but it cannot be argued that we have the much easier run in. Stan is being a contrarian douche
I agree with stan that 3 games in a week is not ideal but you'd struggle to pick a better run in than we have. Can only blame ourselves if we don't get over the line. The outside worry is perhaps a couple of sloppy draws in there and spurs win it on GD. But I really don't think they will win all 4 of theirs.
Me either. Jose knows how to kill games against other good teams away from home. Thats got 0-0 written all over it. Also Leicester at the King Power......can't see that being a walk over either. Leicester have looked bang tidy since Ranieiri was forced out.
Every game is a potential slip up for them. Though same could be said of the last 2 games and they got through them. But ultimately, something will go wrong somewhere, an own goal, a sending off, something like that and the pressure will tell. I just can't see them winning all 4 and if they don't we should have enough winnable games to get home. I hope anyway!!
I hope too sincerely. But I don't see the end comfortably. Will be glad if I am proved wrong. Our run in - Difficult (Boro) Difficult (West Brom) Moderate (Watford) Easy (Sunderland) Spuds run in - Moderate (West Ham) Very very very Easy (Manu) Difficult (Leicester) Easy (Hull) I think this is how thinks will pan out.
I see Boro and West Brom as moderate. West Brom are on the beach and have been awful of late. Boro are poor offensively and wont be able to just sit back. They need 3 points which plays into our hands. Whether Hull will be easy for Spurs depends on whether Hull need the points or not for survival. too early to say. But there is no way United will be an easy game. They just don't lose.
Agree West Brom are on beach. but the problem is , their beach run will end sometime. past 4 or 5 games there were in beach. We play away at Hawthorns. I would have made that Moderate but for that. also, Tony is one of the best party pooper out there. Probably second to Jose. Unfortunately, Run of games are like Both Tony & Jose are out to poop in our party.
farking spammers for a day or 2 hours.. Come on yo mighty Irons!! score a goal at the least, don't bend over!!
Stan take a chill pill they have only gone and beats the Spuds, and I put a Fiver on West Ham win At 13-2 happy days (told you we will win it).
Well thats it, title more or less done and dusted. Thanks Spammers. Stan, still think we are 50/50 for the title?
I wasn't jumping after that Spammers win. We still want to take care of Boro. Cannot get complacent like Spuds did. Just realist not pessimist.
Congratulations...been a great chase...shame it didn't go til the end of the season but can't complain about you lot winning...you have been really consistent since losing to the goons back in the autumn.
