Swansea are in a relegation battle.

Swansea could never afford the £70m+ fee

Swansea couldn't afford the minimum of £140k a week in wages

    Swansea aren't a big club

Swansea won't be in Europe let alone the CL next season

    Swansea is in Wales

You Sir are a ****ing dolt

More chance of Sigurdsson going to Everton, I'm afraid, especially if Barkley leaves.

I guess there was more chance of Sigurdsson going to Everton than Swansea from Tottenham in the first place also .... but he didn't did he, he came to Swansea . We got Sigurdsson for the price of our academy player , Ben Davies , that's how we run our club ..with brains , not wasting money . Everton aren't that much different the us or some other " Midtable Teams " , Barkley and Lukaku wanting out dictate that fact . And who says Sigurdsson will go .Llorente could have went to Chelsea , but he didn't , he came to use . Then Chelsea came sniffing around us to get him in January . Just because teams spend big , doesn't mean they are desirable to go to , lots of times it just means there stupid spenders .

You got Sigurdsson for Davies and Vorm, because he couldn't get into our side.
I like him, he's a good player with a very good attitude, but we had and have better players.

Could he have gone to Everton? No idea, but they've got more money to spend now and new owners.
It looks likely that Lukaku will leave and Barkley might join him, so they'll be looking to spend.
Siggurdson's been linked with them and he might fancy European football.

Everton look very likely to finish at least 7th.
The two domestic cups will also be won by teams in those places.
Top four will enter the Champions League, while fifth to seventh will be in the Europa.
That's unless Leicester and Man Utd both win European trophies.

I like Swansea, anyway. I'm not knocking them.
It's nice to watch a bunch of ex-Spurs players running about wearing white, with a bird on the club crest.
It's like watching a Welsh tribute act or something. <ok>

Top three is Champions League, fourth is a play-off for it.
Fifth is Europa League and both cup winners get in, too.
If the cup winners already qualify for Europe, then the additional places go to the league.

Man Utd won the League Cup and the remaining FA Cup sides are currently 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th.
It's not 100% that Everton will qualify or finish 7th or above, but I'd say it's pretty likely.

My team Swansea attract players that have ended up bench warmers like Gylfi was most of the time at bigger clubs....He has been one of the few success stories but there has been many failures also...Lukaku is on the up where Gylfi was on the down and for that reason We might as well say we can attract Messi. I'm very proud of my clubs achievements over the last decade but I don't kid myself we will ever attract players who are on the up as we are a small club in a big pond and that is nothing to be ashamed of and our record in recent years shows that....Lukaku is a great finisher who is a little bit greedy maybe who is looking for a better contract and teams like mine could never afford him anyway......Maybe in a few years if he loses his form and the big clubs don't want him anymore we may sign him....IMO he will be a fool to leave a big club like Everton as the grass is not always greener at another club....

This is what Swansea do best and it's what should be focused on.
The same was true of Spurs until recently and it's still partly true.

You can't compete financially with some of the bigger sides, so you have to do things a little differently.
Picking up quality older players who've fallen out of favour, ambitious squad players and talented youngsters is the only way to do it.
They key has been to stick to a footballing philosophy and make signings that suit that system.
That includes choosing managers who won't have to overhaul the whole squad to suit their way of playing.

yes title is well & truly over.

20 points lead over our closest rival with them having a game in hand.

17pts lead net with 10 to go. It is as good as over.

4 more wins to win the title.

Lets do this in style boys.
