Stan has been doing this all season.
United have been out of the title race since November <doh>

I cannot see past us winning it, but in the unlikely event that we didn't, then City or possibly Spurs would be the ones to sneak in, not United <laugh>

United may well challenge next season if they spend another £100m on a couple of key signings (which they probably will).

They will probably spend £100 mill on a couple of players each!

They have been an odd one since fergie left, United.

On paper, their defence is dogshit, I dont rate Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Rojo, Blind or any of those useless ****s to be honest.
Yet they dont seem to ship many goals.
Their attacking talent is astonishing, Zlatan, Rooney, Mata, Pogba, Martial, (They also had Di Maria and Falcao in there too at one point) yet they cannot score for ****ing toffee.

Stan loves it when I bring this up....But its been my contention since Fergie left that the style of football has been so cautious and defensive (under Moyes, LvG and now Jose), that the attacking impetus of the team is sacrificed in order to keep it tight at the other end to make up for the almost complete lack of talent in the back four.

    :p

They keep picking the absolute worst manager available for the job. It's almost as if management haven't a clue what they're doing. Or they're trying to pick someone to fail.

I'm fairly sure Chelsea had him snapped up.

Mourinho was/is without doubt the best possible candidate who was readily available at the time. Proven, unarguable track record in the league he was about to work in.
To suggest otherwise is, frankly, nonsense.

I would suggest that this year he's tasked with consolidation and the main aim is champions league next season, which we've got two opportunities at. Better than Liverpool have for a start.

Maybe your wonder manager should have won the EL last season perhaps, instead of ****ing it up?

Anyway, next season we will have to improve on all fronts, including the product on the pitch.
I think we will. Not worrying yet at all.

I agree with Bod on the defence, which also contradicts Milks assertion we have the best squad.

We don't, our centre halives are in the main ****. Bailly will be good ultimately. Jones should be but is never fit.

We've two decent full backs in Valencia and Shaw but we need improvement there too.

Sky Sports reporting that Lukaku won't be signing a new contract at Everton.

Has 2 years left on his current deal. Will Everton run it down, or cash in during the summer? Big question is, where will he end up?

If Llorente leaves us I can see some sort of deal with Lukaku and Sigurdsson involved between Swansea and Everton . Sigurdsson is probably still smarting from his expierence with the Spurs ( rode the bench )and will not want to be transferred to a " Big Club " . Everton gives him a chance to play at a very good club and be guareenteed minutes .

Those defenders were all good or on the road to being good before they came to United. Moyes, LVG and Mourinho ruined them.

It's an odd one, his agent said he'd definitely sign only a week ago, whether this was to flush out interest that has now materialised who knows.

The rumour around the Everton sites is that the only issue remaining was the release clause and that Everton were standing firm and his agent went public that he'd sign to try and raise the pressure on us to concede, but we haven't

Tonight's press release was coordinated at 5pm across a number of media outlets whether it was arranged by Everton or the agent is debatable. A game of chess this, if he doesn't sign then we'll probably sell in the summer but we'll be asking close to a record fee for him.

Rojo, Bailly and Smalling were all complete unknowns.

Jones was potential who is injured a lot, Valencia is a converted winger after injury and Darmian you are correct on. Don't know what's happened to him.

Shaw broke his leg in two places last year and Blind is now a utility player but hardly ruined.

None of them were bought as the finished article, not one.

Id love him at Spurs...but I don't think we need him unless Kane plays the number 10 role(which he can).

Everton will sell him in the summer...lets see if they are big enough to decline offers from the PL because I can see a lot of interest here.

Flog him to PSG for 70 mill.
