Beaten Liverpool/Sp*rs though already. Admittedly the Manure/City games were poor but we have both at home next round. In any case, it's all speculation as who know what the table will look like in 2 months time. City are favourites for me by virtue of the fact that they have the best attack in the league, doesn't necessarily mean they'll win the league. Anything can happen.

Liverpool in 09, United 06, Arsenal 05, Arsenal 03, United 02, Chelsea and United 98

Just a few examples of when the top scoring teams did not win the league

Both were at home though. I think you'll struggle in both those away games tbh as you will at Goodison and the Bridge. You'll certainly pick up some points in those games but it is almost a certainty you'll drop a few as well.

Arsenal are certainly in the title race but a top 3 finish would be a fantastic achievement considering Liverpool's rise and the money Spurs have spent.

Given the sheer depth and quality of City's squad,i think Pellegrini would have to consider the season as a failure if we dont win the league given that Utd are at the start of a rebuilding process,Chelsea still a work in progress and liverpool & arsenal not having squad depth to be realistically still there or thereabouts at the end

Our record on Merseyside is not too bad. I'm hopeful of at least a point each from those two matches. We've been doing well against Sp*rs as of late. Hopefully we can turn them over on their own turf which is something we haven't done since 2007. Can't see us getting anything against you at yours, City at home will be difficult as well and I think a point is the best we could hope for. I suspect Chelsea and City will also drop points at times during the run in, so it's the side that's the most consistent that will be on top come May. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's the truth. Ideally I'd just like for us to challenge until the final day, whatever happens.

I wouldn't be disappointed at a top 3 finish, given the financial spending power of the clubs we are competing with. I'd expect us to strengthen in the summer and try to challenge again next season (if we don't win it this season).

If it wasn't for City's slow start (away from home), title would probably be near enough done.

I think City will win the league by around 5-6 points and Chelsea and Arsenal will be within a couple of points of each other.

However with FFP to consider, can't see City getting much better than they are now. Arsenal will be better next year if Arsene is prepared to buy 1 or 2 key players again and we should be better again in Jose's 2nd year.

FFP is a non starter now for anyone to cling to after PSG got into bed with the quataris
In any event city will be ok in that regards anyway

Remains to be seen. I think the only reason you spent 100 odd million last summer was to get players in place before the potential effect started to take its toll.
