Don't see any point in shelling out on a new striker then? <whistle>

People thought that Giroud had gone off the boil, but his cracking strike against Villa proved that he's no yoke <whistle>

I don't think it's a Giroud vs the world situation. Most gooners like and appreciate him and his scoring record isn't bad so should he go on a blinder then everyone would be delighted (bar our rivals naturally).

    Oh, er... eggs.

Rumours going around that Wenger doesn't prefer Podolski through the middle, only out on the left. Giroud eggshells through the middle.

If AW is getting someone in during this window, I hope he doesn't leave it until the last day again. Those last minute scrambles give me the jip!

it is getting close to the point where Arsenal have a great chance. Once its down to 10 games to go and you are still in it then it becomes a race to the line and the pressure really gets going. All teams can drop points then and it just becomes an even race between two or three teams. i think we will be looking at those title run in graphics with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal being shown on our screens week in and out. Arsenal just need to stay close after the next six games. Then they have good experience of having to win in the last 10 games from the champions league fight of the last few years.

Agreed, the team & manager that holds their nerve will be strong. I just worry that our squad compared to the depth of Man City & Chelsea may leave us lacking, particularly our ability to pick up injuries.

Keep going lads, enjoying being top of the league.
