Literally the best squad in the entire league yet we are a midtable team at present and sliding down the table at an alarming rate - relegation form. TMy reservations when we appointed Adams were not that I thought he would fail spectacularly and get us relegated it was simply was Adams really the best man for the job out of all the managers out there? On basis of current form, not a chance I would say.

We cannot simply sack Adams now though however frustrating the results are. The tricky thing is, Middlesborough and Wolves aside we have played pretty well for most of the season. Yet we find ourselves in the position were Ipswich, a team who operate on a fraction of a budget (and to any Binners reading this, I actually mean this in a complimentary way) and who on paper wouldn't get more than a couple of their players into our first XI if any are 4 points ahead of us and winning every game they play simply because they have a far, far better manager than us.

I've always maintained that with the squad we have anything less than promotion will be complete failure. Yet right now this looks a long shot and if we don't get promoted I really fear we will be picked bare next season of our best players and be condemned to an eternity of Championship mediocrity.

Adams promised us football to bring a smile to our faces. Right now I see football to bring a grimmace to my face. Today Forest didn't deserve even a point although they improved a great deal in the second half. But they caught us repeatedly on the break and once again this proved our undoing. What does Adams expect if he is playing two CBs with no pace and afforded no protection? Michael Turner is an excellent defender and more or less our player of the season on current form but he, even more so Cuellar are both slow so if keep leaving them so exposed there is nothing we can do yet Adams persists to play like this. At best naive, at worst utterly clueless.

I'm not calling for Adams to be sacked, I'm still behind him as my signature says. But in no uncertain teams we need a massive improvement immediately. If we can't beat the Birminghams of this league that puts us under to pressure to beat the Forests (who were on a six game loss streak until now) and the Middlesboroughs. I pray we this sorted.

Just as well football is played on grass and not paper, on current form do you really think only a couple of our boys would get in your team....behave yourself, the only player I would take from you guys ATM is your keeper (well maybe)!

The difference between us and Norwich is that we play as a team and as a tight organised and highly motivated unit! Mick won't tolerate any fancy dans or prima donnas as the collective is always greater than the sum of its parts. Every single player who puts on the Blue jersey has a hunger and desire to perform and win. This is the big difference and Mick has worked bloody miracles and transformed our club from bring relegation strugglers to serious promotion contenders. This is no fluke but merely down to bloody hard work and shipping out the deadwood who didn't buy into the team collective. They can talk all they like about having the best players but we have a far better team!
 
let's be fair, ipswich are having a tremendous season and deserve huge credit for that, but if norwich had a decent manager they would finish [comfortably] above them. problem is, we don't have a good manager. despite this we still defeated ipswich and until last week had been above them in the table. we're a mess but there's still a long way to go

You clearly haven't watched us very much (then again why would you have?) then because Ruddy has been completely indifferent almost every match this season. Few errors or great saves to influence the game. I'm fairly sure even considering current form Michael Turner and Alex Tettey would walk in to your team.
 
Michael Turner would definitely not walk into our team!

We have Christophe Berra and Luke Chambers who are the best Centre Back pairing in this division by a country mile. <ok>

Tettey isn't bad and would probably make our bench.
 
The thing what i don't get about this, oh only 2 players would get in our side crap is why do you think that? None of your side has hardly pulled up any trees in their career. So the only thing i can think of is that you are judging them on past price tags or past clubs.

As I said, maybe, as for Turner and Tetty.....delusional springs to mind, at least you think a "couple" of your boys might make our eleven. <whistle>

I wouldn't want any of their players in the Town team! We are doing very nicely simply because Mick has picked the right players for each specific job and the balance of the team is more important than any one individual.
 
I know it's exciting for you lot to finally be above us right now but the season is far from over and i would bet with anyone on here that we will finish higher than Ipswich.
 
If Ipswich finish higher than us i will go to an Ipswich home game dressed as Bernard Matthews and scream bootiful every time you make a pass or take a shot.

In all honesty it is hard to say, but the way we are playing ATM is far removed from the showing we gave against yourselves early doors. The big difference Is we have a manager you have a coach, our players believe in MM yours don't seem to believe in Adams, based on that we do have a chance of finishing above you fancy dans.!

You lot have been stuck in this league without a chance of going up for a long long time so you deserve the chance to rub our noses in it to be fair. Adams has done little wrong in my eyes but we are on a very bad run . Other than Boro away we played well enough to win most of the last 7 games. We didn't and we can either give him more time and hope he stumbles apon the winning formular again or replace him with a household name .
I am chuffed for you lot but as you keep reminding us since August promotion is not won in November either.
I hope we both go up.
