15-20% always in cash so I know the person who served me got the money

Run a few bars in my time and always ensured staff kept 100% of their tips - no "tip jar" where it got shared out between everyone

If you'd done well enough to get a tip you deserved to keep it

I'm a part time circumcisor and I keep all my tips.

 

Why would I tip my own servants? Surely no-one on here does that.

It's going rather well thankyou, my biggest customer is a German/Jewish light manufacturer called Helmut Schoen.

 

To be fair I have to confess and admit that I’ve never ever tipped your servants either.

 

Only if they give good head. Errr, I mean service. Only if they give good service.

 

I *always* tip cabbies. Because it's worth it for the time you drop your passport/phone/wallet in the cab and are relying on them to get it back to you!

 

Depends on the situation, I always tip the chippy 20p, and I always get almost a double portion.

Tip if it's worth it, the food is generally not what I base it on as the waiter didn't make the food, so if they're nice and not annoying then they'll get a good tip regardless of whether the chef has made some good food for me.
