Just find it a little conspicuous that whenever a mackem talks about NUFC, he is desperate to add in "how little he actually cares" before making his point
Wasn't makin excuses for him, personally I dont think his performances were that bad, just not as good as last seasons and another reson he's so highly rated(by us atleast) is due to consistantly good performances
Lol this has totally gone off tangent. My opinion is that Tiote will be off in either January or Summer however not to an English team. Of the teams above us look at who they have in his position and if they would want to spend big.... I highly doubt any of them will except Man U however they need a creative force (Tiote is not creative, he is a destroyer) and will go for someone like Sneijder. Also, De Rossi will be available for a lower price given his contractual status. My guess is if he does leave it will be to mainland Europe. Maybe Germany?
Ah but, no but, when Sess was leaving him and Barton in his wake, dribbling round them for fun. The Ramadan excuse was dragged out at the time. Was Barton fasting to show solidarity with Tiote?
Ugh I hope not. That would be tragic! Still can't see it being Utd but then again who knows. Lol true dat!
What about all the other players that performed excellently throughout Ramadan? That's a bs excuse for a period of bad-form, nothing more, nothing less.
I've not seen much of him but I wasn't really that impressed with what I have seen... I mean he looks okay but I don't understand the amount of adulation coming at him from Newcastle fans... maybe I've just caught him having a poor day at the office. I'm not sure how many big clubs will really be interested in throwing a load of money into Ashley's pie-fund for him... If I was a mag I would be more concerned at a big team going after Cabaye (sp?) who seems better all round.
You're so stupid it's unreal. Try eating in the morning, waiting 8 hours and then going on a 10 mile run (just like players do over the course of 90 mins). Compare it to someone who eats a nutritionally-sound high carbohydrate meal minutes before he goes on the same run. See how many miles he tans your arse by. Saying it's 'bullshit' makes absolutely no logical sense. Your body needs fuel from somewhere. It doesn't run on nothing. When there are no carbs (i.e. no fuel) your body turns to fat reserves, and this is a very slow, inefficient and sluggish process in which your body turns down its own performance to be able to handle living on fat stores alone. The fact that every EPL player can eat a high carb, high fuel meal provided by a nutritionist, whilst players like Ba and Tiote cannot, means that they're at a major disadvantage. Every other player will feel far more energetic than they do. I suspect that if you had proper nutrition whilst "on the buildings" you would realise how much energy you were actually lacking previously. There's no 'ifs' or 'buts' about it. Your body is not made out of ****ing magic. It burns energy, and therefore it needs energy, otherwise it won't perform at its peak. It's no coincidence that both Ba and Tiote suddenly found form a week after Ramadan had ended.
Hann't read all this thread, cos i couldn;t be bothered....but i noticed the bit about Ramadan..................take a look at Mourinho and Muntatri ...
I guarantee, anyone eating a high carbohydrate meal 'minutes' before a 10 mile run would be hoying up within the first 2. Ramadan certainly would have an effect though, dehydration being the main factor. The average person becomes dehydrated after only a few hours.
