Not gonna belittle the incident but the reality is **** happens. If they can deal with it they will. All joking aside, stigmas have been wrongly attached to certain clubs because of this kind of thing. There are idiots out there, but if true its only one of 60,095. Not nice but you can't control everything. The Mail are just looking to stir a pot that is quite the topic in recent months. In my experience Arsenal are a great club with excellent support.
Agree with the above, you can't tar everyone with the same brush. The Arsenal fans in general are good supporters.
I am not though I am mate. Purely defending arsenal from abuse from you and spud fans in a single thread You are the 1 who cant see your in crisis pal. Not me. You have a hard run in and are still only 5th.
If anyone is found guilty. Let him meet Tiote face to face lets see how brave he is then. You will never stop one or two mindless idiots regardless of how well behaved 99.9% of any clubs fans behave. It is up to us all to make sure we don't go back to the 70's 80's when racist abuse was embarrassing by a lot of clubs including my own Newcastle.
Your presuming someone made a racist remark despite you having no idea if he did or not and despite there being no evidence to say the guy made any racist remark. Heres hoping you never get called to jury duty.
Yup. We have to have no tolerance for racism (unlike kenny) but yet innocent until proven guilty. And it is possible for a fan to abuse a black player without it being racist
I hope we deal with it better than other clubs have recently. Hopefully we won't have t-shirts of the fan in question, parading around his innocence while calling it a media witch hunt.
Did you work that out on your own Sherlock Holmes? That idiotic comment does'nt even have anything to with what went on. The Oldham player accused a fan of racially abusing him, the police investigated and found no evidence of racial abuse. End of. He should be forced to say sorry in front of the KOP for making false accusations about racism because it was the hot topic at the time.
No, but they at the very least treat them as one. Just like you call Ipswich players Binners/Binmen even though they're patently not. I've heard Dwight Yorke called a stupid Manc **** before, for instance. Adeyemi misheard something and wussed out. The eyewitnesses included a BBC correspondent. The only person who alleges there was anything with a whiff of racism about it is that weakling Adeyemi.
The big point that people seem to have forgot is. Have Newcastle or anyone at Newcastle actually complained about a racist comment? The silence from Newcastle suggests to me this an unreliable rag trying to create something to sell the paper because there was some controversial incident within that game.
