    Wow, really.

Patrice Evra's lost his brother a little over six weeks ago, forgive me if I'm wrong but sometimes players are a little shaken by events like this.

Collectively United fans will argue with anybody that Patrice Evra is right up there with Ashley Cole as the best left back in the world. There will be a few that want Evra out of the first 11 for now and replaced with Fabio or Raphael but the majority of fans would be more than happy to see Pat line up on matchday against you guys.

For the shifts the guy has put in over the course of his contract, we can forgive him under these circumstances for being below par.

To be fair, we dont keep track of stuff like that, you talk as though we're being really harsh for overlooking the fact that Evra lost his brother when few, if any, knew that.

Missed most of this article so just responding to some general points:

    - If Tiote replaces Guthrie, who is playing well then Santon must replace Raylor, who is playing worse than Guthrie and had a shocker on Saturday

    - Ben Arfa wont play on the wing so why are people still so insistent he should play there?

    - I'd bring Obertan back in, Sammy did OK but he's not ready to be a starter

    - We dont play 4-2-3-1, we play 4-4-1-1, difference is the former is a counter attack formation, where the 2 DMs cover the full backs, allowing the wingers to have less defensive responsibility.

Sorry to hear about Evra losing his brother, which I doubt many of us knew.

Having said that, the worst things said about him were that he was slow and defending poorly lately, with several of our members holding the opposite view. If he has been below par for personal reasons, fair point and you're clearly right to support him. Our main interest is still how to improve our chances of a first point at OT in god knows how long
