We played ok at Leeds Rezza a handful did well so why change it he scored must of been buzzing yet dropped to the bench.
Changes for changes sake that's completely pointless .

Was wondering this myself today thinking that Riga could be a bit of a tinker man...

Not just with the Reza situation but for Church to not even be in the line-up for the last three (?) and to magically re-appear today

I suppose it's a case of horses for courses with regards to Church, but there is no getting away from the fact that today's second half was an absolute mess.

I can't understand why Harriott stayed on past half-time and why Obika or Sordell weren't brought on to replace him.

I thought the first half was largely excellent, and we played some really crisp football.

Reading were no great shakes, but they stepped it up after the break and proved too strong for our weary legs.

Anyway, we roll on to Tuesday and do it all again.

COYR!

2 games a week is starting to take its toll. Not sure how much Wilson and Jackson have got left in the tank to be honest.

The only reason I could think of for playing Church was the jubilation effect of taking him off later for a proper striker. Agree with MikeTyson. I remember criticizing CP for sticking cousins out on the wing after a great game at centre midfield, and no sooner do I back Jose but he starts mucking about with a winning team. I'd have taken the draw today, but not a home defeat. So we need a decent striker up front? And we choose Church over Obika? You'll need to explain that one to me using words of on sylaball.

Obika is hardly messi is he?

The right hand side of midfield and shoe horning Jackson into every and any formation are bigger problems than which one of our none goal scoring strikers he picks are bigger problems if you ask me

Everton brought Nesmith on at Fulham last week he changed the game... So kept his place today and scores for Arsenal .
Don't like tinkering something CP also did too much .
Seems to be modern way it's crap

Yesterday was a winnable game, though.

If we'd scored first, we would have had a good chance to see the game out and then move onto Yeovil with a real buzz about us.

A wasted opportunity, methinks.

A good result would have boosted us, really can't understand these footballers not being able to play 90 minutes twice a week. A decent tennis tournament would kill them.
Which ones? Jacko didn't look tired to me, he's only 31; slow maybe, but he's never had pace anyway, that's why he's not playing in the Premier League. I can't understand why AStrid is escaping criticism. To me the guy is a disgrace, I'd rather have Pritchard or Wagstaff, limited technically, but 100% committed than a player who is talented but lazy. I don't remember ever seeing a player who wasn't injured wanting to be subbed in the middle of a match.

Is it possible that Riga has now assessed the squad, and is targeting what he has at his disposal at certain remaining fixtures? If we beat Yeovil and Barnsley & draw with Bolton and Sheff Wed, we will be safe.

I read Saturday's selection with hindsight as a manager marshalling his limited forces, knowing that he now has a few players running on empty.
