This summer, they splashed the cash, it seemed like Quinn was doing it to make a point to Ashley. And again when we were relegated my mackem mate from college did not let me live it down. EVER!

"Oh we've got the worlds most dedicated fans and we've also got Les Ferdinand and Ginola..."

I always loved that chant. When sung by Spurs fans obviously.

When they beat us 2-1 and we were sinking without a trace with Kinnear in charge. And obviously also when we went down...

Alway admired and still do Kevin Philips, doing well for Blackpool, you've hit the jackpot with Nial, but Bent proved himself to be a firstclass GIT at Sunderland.

The signing of Shearer, I wanted to be him when he was at Blackburn, still loved him for England after.
The last time was on Saturday, I alway's stay til the end. When the final whistle went I looked over and thought, lucky bastard's they're going to have a right party tonight.

I'd say Bent after his first season with you lot. Amazingly good for Sunderland. I was strangely furious that Crapello didn't take him to the world cup. Then again that Italian prick gets a nose bleed north of Hyde

When we got relegated. Around the same time as Sunderland signing Bent, we were getting thrashed by Orient. Some contrast.

Also, THAT Richardson goal. Hate losing derbies and that was some way to lose it!

At the time, I was also pretty envious of Sunderland signing Gyan. He was off the back of a fantastic World Cup, and whilst they splashed £13m, we signed no-one on deadline day. I love deadline day so it's always an anti-climax when we don't sign anyone. Or, even worse, when it's like the one in January!

In spite of all their grumbling at the moment, I envy Sunderland now. If they offered us Quinn and Short in place of the Casino Manager and Fat Boy, I'd snap their hands off. At least they have a set up which ensures all the family silver doesn't get flogged off and not replaced. Sunderland fans have a lot to be grateful for.

When Ashley and LLambias act like tits, would like an owner like Short and chairman like Quinn.

When they beat us in the play offs.

When they had Sewper Kev and Sir Niall up front while we had the likes of Paul Robinson and Danielle Cordone (Shearer and Duncan Disorderly on the bench I might add, Gullit = prick)

When they were 2nd at Christmas and we were in the bottom half, they were linked with Scholes and we signed Clarence Acuna.

    When they signed Bent.

When they appointed Bruce as manager.............maybe not.

Sadly, he isn't even considered a great. I bet it would be different if he went to Man U instead of us.
