Warnock kept us up in the Championship when we looked to be heading down, took us up as Champions next season, got us to 9th in the PL whinch we haven't got close to since, and that after no funding close season. We were still in a safe position when he went. He knows us and is the best short term replacement available I can think of.
I do think we should have stuck with him before but I don't think he's the right man now. He doesn't know us anymore. It's a completely different team, bar a small few players. Also, he was in form as a manager then. He's not now. We need someone who is positive, on a roll and has fresh, modern ideas. No dinosaurs!
Exactly.. said yesterday during the match on here Hill being the worse culprit imo ... Taarabt fed off scraps and to put a reasonable performance only shows his class imo If a couple of his quick passes had made it then could of been a different result Been harping on about this but it's these little flashes that unlock defences The fat taarabt gang on here should pay attention to exactly how good he is and what a Pratt Harold has been This one player can go to any ground he don't care let him perform because he will
But no one questions his ability. Most people who don't like Taarabt simply think it'd be better not having characters at the club like him as it causes more damage than good in the long run.
