Bowie admits that he wrote commercial pop songs in the 80s just to he could make back all the money he lost in the 70s.

Favourite Bowie album?

Would be a toss up between Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs and Scary Monsters.
 
Favourite Bowie album, probably Ziggy Stardust, but like most of the late 60's and 70's stuff, and was lucky enough to see the Ziggy tour. Also saw the Serious Moonlight tour at Murrayfield, which was ok. Main meory of that is being absolutely ****ing soaked, as it pissed down all day, and in the pub after it, you could hardly see across the bar with the steam coming off all the soaked ****s who had been at the concert .

Bowie means a lot too many.

Mainly those of us who feel like outsiders and remote from life. That's why I like him so much.

The 2001 album Heathen saw a great return to form.
