I will say, every thread you posted on after the sending off, whilst obviously annoyed and upset, not once did you overstep the mark in response! I know a lot of our posters did overstep the mark, but only in retaliation to some pretty ugly things being thrown in our direction, trouble is I'm a one-finger typer, so while I'm trying to deal with an item, when I finally post it, about thirty others have got in in front of me, plus, I'm an old man, the excitement of the game wore me out, and the furore afterwards deprived me of my kip!

I still don't really see what Johnson did wrong? If somebody puts their face in yours, even the slightest motion is going to make you flinch and move your head back, and as there was at least minimal contact then to rub his nose in the manner he did is more than reasonable. He didn't make a meal of anything and certainly didn't go down like Barton did against Arsenal so find it absoutely preposterous that he is being vilified for any of this at all.
And as for saying he should have been - do me a favour! For what exactly?

Btw, members on the Rs board ain't half as bad as we've been coming across lately. Seriously, a great bunch for the most part - as, I know from my visits, are the Norwich guys (for the most part). Always got on well with mods Dave and Thai. Problem with us Rs is that we've all got the hump atm due to that sinking feeling - so not at our best right now. A great laugh for you on form Canaries I'm sure but that's just football ain't it? All ups and downs.

I have to say I'm always sceptical of anyone who makes such a big thing about being a 'new poster' ever since the old 606 days so I await with interest to see what else the OP has to say in the future

 

All good points re people talking about Warnock's comments, I'm pretty sure they were different than what was said to some of the players in the dressing room!

For what it's worth i was born in Great Yarmouth, and my parents still live in the area (Just outside Southwold) I've supported Norwich for many years now, and followed them closely. Tell you what though, let me post some more then judge for yourselves. Although i'm just about to agree on another thread that we aren't playing so well at the moment so i guess thats not the best follow up

Battersea's view on it is remarkably similar to a good mate of mine who is a Norwich season ticket holder. Not all Canaries are as blind to see it as a red card for Barton and Johnson as a saint. I can't believe you're reducing him to naming areas of Norfolk because he sees it differently to you!
