It finished 3-3. The reason Harriott didn't start is the club wanted to try Courtney Harris, a RM previously with Fulham, I believe as a contracted professional. He just qualifies for u-21 status by a few days. He played the full 90 minutes so couldn't have been a disaster. Our only over-21 was John Sullivan in goal. He's 24. Apart from those who have moved up from last year's u-18s we played Mambo, Bover and Smith, plus Poyet and Cousins who are still eligible for the u-18s.
For those who attend the yoof games- how is poyet progressing? It was only 18 months ago that teams like arsenal were apparently close to stealing him from us.
Last season's U18's were a very good team... this season's is not as strong and I think Diego and Tobi are having slight problems raising themselves at present. Neither are playing as well as last season.
Quite right. His date of birth was 6 March 1994. I apologise for not checking. Poyet is getting a lot of game time with the u-21s. I suppose partly for that reason and partly because the u21s suffer the same lack of options in central midfield as the first team. Sho-Silva not so much because we already have three u-21 strikers in Pigott, Azeez and Michael Smith.

Could be Mary, Cousins was the same at the start of last season after his exploits with the England U17's that summer I was told at the first U18 PS friendly that the Club wanted to fast track Diego into the U21's but we also need him in the U18's to play along with Olly Muldoon.... decisions decisions!!
