when I started reading down the comments I thought if the opinion is that we should have 2 up front and an unrestricted Tommo in behind the first 4 names on my team sheet are Fielding ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? NAME THOSE NAMES TOMMO ENGVAL ABRAHAMS Then I came across your post, dont exactly agree with it but 4 - 3 -1 -2 the secret with any formation is that whilst you have the ball and on the attack the other team is always on the defensive ..but looking for the breakaway ....
Yes the shot off target hitting the bar and a defence carved open could have easily been 4-0. Hull had the better chances. easy chances. give myself a ex sunday league player a chance with the open header. no problem with resting players but far far too many changes at the moment every game.
Lets not forget they are a Premiership side It never was going to be a simple job, and if they carved us open at will its because they face teams like Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea every weekend, when we are playing Rotherham, Wigan and Blackburn. Their whole game is by necessity at a different level so its not a huge surprise, and it doesn't make us a soft Championship side. Yes they could have won it 0-4 (they didn't) but if they had it would have surprised nobody. With that in mind I think we did pretty well, and might have snatched extra time right at the death
done in another thread, don't play your best and??? put your best on and it improves. City were soft. kids stuff at corners. too many changes in players and tactics. 3/4/5 changes each game and 9 v Hull was this time too much.
Hang on the sec, weren't you the one that after the Cardiff defeat started a thread with the title 'QPR Tuesday Changes required'
I can see why LJ has a problem winning some fans over. Ten days ago ' we got to make changes' today 'we got to a keep a settled side'
Not so much what he says ...but didn't some of the Barnsley fans say he was a bit erratic with team selection that cost them on more than one occasion?
if he carries on the way he is ... and we get results super doooper ... I can live with constant team changes if they work, and are attached to a plan ...that works ... to date a few injuries have been constructive in how we have laid out the table .... hopefully we wont get soup dishes laid out for the main course, and cups for the wine ...
Because you're an idiot? Because you're a prat? Because you've got no idea what you're talking about? That's my three guesses, am I close?
Now now ROD don't take you personal issues out on me. No seriously I'm sure you find a new job in your industry, there are plenty of quarry's over here in South Gloucstershire where I live. Keep your pecker up
I'm technical for ready mixed concrete, and look after approx 50 concrete plants. Quarries are just a supplier to me, but thanks
Funny enough I've always got that choice as my auntie and uncle live over there, but with my phobia to snakes and my wife's job in Cardiff pooh poohs that one. As I said on another thread concrete technical is an old mans game now with not a lot of young people going into it. So I've had other companies enquiring about me. So things won't be too long till I'm sorted or I will go into something else more commercial side maybe.
not every trade RR in music, often the very best are polishing their cars while the inferior are gleaming and preening at the cameras
