He is turning a very ordinary Glasgow Rangers side around after the turmoil that encircled the club for the first 4 months of the season when they appointed another from the Iberian Peninsula. However, their much criticised board saw the light, and having failed to get the Aberdeen guy, turned to Murty. Having seen him interviewed on TV he comes across as a very measured and thoughtful person, who I feel can motivate players. That is why, and besides he couldn't do any worse than the present appointee. In fact he would do a lot better. Plus, he has spent some time here at the club so he knows the scene.
He only took over in November, and seems to have settled them down. He certainly had Rangers organised for their second match with Celtic. I do not believe for a minute that Rangers players are any better than those at Aberdeen or Hearts but his Rangers side have certainly matched most teams in his short time in the post.
Tom28 on SW who was right throughout the Virgil saga has said a board meeting has taken place this evening.
lol if I commit a crime on your birthday and you do too, the papers will read for me: "A youth aged 49 stole a penny sweet from the corner shop" for you: "A sad old middle aged man, 50, stole a penny sweet from the corner shop" Just saying
Must have been some high class escorts. Reminds of me of after the vitesse game when I saw some Dutch lads asking people where the red light district was. They got given directions to empress which somehow is I don’t think what they had in mind
..another thing. 50. Where he **** did those years go? Seems only yesterday I was celebrating my 21st. Next year isn’t our 50th, it’s the 29th anniversary of our 21st Birthday [emoji6]
