Our defence has been nothing to write home about over the last four games. James Milner must be credited for preventing Bournemouth from scoring the second game.
He did incredibly well for clearing the ball but was he also the one who played Fraser onside in the first place?
Not taking anything away from the clearance. It was as good as us scoring a goal
Our defence conceded early goal yesterday, just as we did at Anfield when we played them at home. The game was eventually won. We had collected 19 points from winning position this season, our defence needs to be better next season.
To be fair our defence has been very good again this season - bear in mind we lost Allison for a good chunk, as well as Matip who started the season excellent.
We conceded a lot of goals since the restart but acknowledge that the league was pretty much done so standards naturally lowered.
So that's Lovren gone to Zenit then. Not really got anything good to say about him and glad to see him go, he was a liability almost every time he played and he caused chaos and anxiety in all the variations of our team that he played in over the years. Maybe he was trying his best and it was just a bad situation all around for a lot of his time with us, from being a regular when we just weren't good enough all round to being peripheral when we finally got it together and he was clearly out of his depth. Not gonna hate on him now though, he just didn't cut it and I'm sure he must have tried
It's a solid enough back 4, full backs TAA, Robbo, Williams, Milner.

Did we not have the best defence this season?
Edit: yes we had the best defence conceding only 33, 12 of which where after we've won the title. Im unsure how much better they can get

someone from GC plastered the board with ****e like them some time ago & most have been deleted but old threads still pop up with them on .
